UV, Princeton Assessments Renew Partnership to Enhance Student Employability Through TOEIC

In a virtual ceremony held today, the University of the Visayas (UV) and Princeton Assessments and Training, Inc. (formerly Hopkins International Partners, Inc.) renewed their Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the continuous administration of the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) for UV college students.

This renewal is seen as a significant step in enhancing the communication skills of students, preparing them for the global job market, and supporting the university's efforts toward internationalization.

The renewed partnership will ensure that UV students continue to have access to TOEIC testing as part of their academic curriculum.

TOEIC, recognized globally as a leading English language proficiency test, measures students’ ability to communicate effectively in professional and international settings. This collaboration between UV and Princeton has already benefited hundreds of students by improving their language proficiency, a key factor in employability.

UV has been recognized to be Cebu’s first university to require TOEIC among its college students in the Main Campus, Dalaguete Campus, and Toledo Campus.
