Gullas Law School holds graduation rites, distributes TOR and diploma on graduation day

THE Gullas Law School (GLS) had its 105th Commencement Exercises and Send-Off Party for Class of 2024 which also saw the distribution of the Official Transcript of Records (TOR) and diploma to this year's gradudates of the Juris Doctor (JD) program.
The graduation ceremony was held last July 12, 2024 at NUSTAR Ballroom, Fili Hotel-NUSTAR Resort Cebu.
The graduation ceremony served as the law graduates' culmination of their academic journey but also marked the beginning of their tedious trek towards the next stage of their career.
Moreover, the Send-Off Party ensued thereafter to bid farewell and express well wishes to the future Visayanian barristers.
The event was also the avenue of yet another milestone of the University of the Visayas as the Juris Doctors received their diplomas and TOR on the day of their graduation, making UV as the first private higher education institution in the country to do so.
This innovative program of same day distribution of the TOR and diploma has been conceptualized by University President Dr. Conrado E. Iñigo, Jr. with the support of the Executive Board officials, namely: Chairman Dr. Gerald Anthony S. Gullas, Vice Chair Mr. Joselito F. Gullas, and Tresurer Dr. Leopold G. Lucero.
Lawyer-journalist Atty. Elias L. Espinoza addressed the graduates being this year's GLS commencement rite guest speaker.
Academic dignitaries who graced the ceremony included University President Dr. Iñigo, Board of Trustees (BOT) Treasurer Lucero, Corporate Secretary Atty. Jarred Alexander Gullas, Vice President for Finance and Quality Management System Dr. Rosemarie Cruz-Español, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Anna Lou C. Cabuenas, Vice President for Administration Mr. Elmer Ocaba, GLS Dean Atty. Joseph Randi C. Torregosa, GLS Associate Dean Atty. Darling Chyrmyth Wagas-Estorgio.
