Revving Up for Upcoming School Year: UV Officials Conduct Ocular Visit at New Building

In a proactive move to ensure the school's readiness for the upcoming Academic Year 2024-2025, University of the Visayas President Dr. Conrado E. Inigo, Jr. conducted an ocular inspection at the new building of UV-Main Campus on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Dr. Iñigo, was joined by UV Vice President for Administration Elmer S. Ocaba, RAJSAT Construction Project Engineer Carlos Satiembre, Jr., and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering student-intern Carlo James Ruezli Laguna.
The site visit, aimed at assessing the readiness and functionality of the newly constructed facility, marks a significant step towards enhancing the university's infrastructure.
The UV officials inspected various aspects of the building including classrooms, laboratories, and common areas to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Expected to accommodate the growing student population and provide state-of-the-art amenities that are conducive for both teaching and learning, the new building is set to open its doors at the start of the next academic year, welcoming students and faculty to a modern, well-equipped educational environment.
