CBA, CCJE hold joint Graduation Ceremony

THE University of the Visayas Main Campus hosted the 105th Commencement Exercises for the College of Business Administration (CBA) and College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) respectively on July 30, 2024 at the University Gymnasium.
Vice President for Finance and Quality Management Systems and CBA Dean Dr. Rosemarie Cruz-Español presented the graduates from CBA which produced Bachelor of Science (BS) in Customs Administration, (BS) in Management Accounting, (BS) in Business Administration (BA) Major in Financial Management, (BSBA) Major in Human Resource Management, (BSBA) Major in Marketing Management, (BS) in Hotel and Restaurant Management, (BS) in Hospitality Management, (BS) in Office Administration, and (BS) in Tourism Management.
On the other hand, (BS) in Criminology graduates were presented by CCJE Dean Dr. Donnald B. Narra.
University President Dr. Conrado E. Iñigo Jr. granted the diplomas and titles as presented by the deans of the respective colleges.
For his part, Atty. Edwin M. Estorgio served as the Commencement Speaker for the ceremony.
“Remember, the future is yours to shape; embrace, and take a deep courage, determination, and unwavering commitment to excellence,” he said.
Thereafter, Executive Board Treasurer Dr. Leopold Gullas-Lucero, Vice President for Finance and Quality Management System Dr. Rosemarie Cruz-Español, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Anna Lou C. Cabuenas, Vice President for Administration Mr. Elmer Ocaba, and Associate Dean of the Gullas Law School (GLS) Atty. Chyrmyth Wagas-Estorgio, along with Dr. Iñigo, and the respective college deans, led the distribution of the official Transcripts of Records (TOR) and Diplomas.
In her address of gratitude, (BSBA) Major in Human Resource Management special academic citation graduate Joyce Cagot Ruiz thanked everyone behind her success.
Meanwhile, Cyril Jean Tapia, another BSBA HRM special academic citation graduate, directed the graduates in their Pledge of Loyalty.
In addition, Atty. Wagas-Estorgio, who is also the Treasurer of the UV Alumni Association Inc. (UVAAI), administered the Alumni Oath welcoming the new graduates into the prestigious alumni community.
The ceremony wrapped up with the ceremonial cap toss followed by the exit of colors, which officially concluded the ceremony rites.
