Cebu City DMDP Recognizes UV for Advancing Employment Opportunities

UV received a Plaque of Appreciation from Cebu City DMDP for its continuous role in expanding employment opportunities and supporting manpower development efforts.
The University of the Visayas was honored by the Cebu City Department of Manpower Development and Placement for its long-standing support of employment initiatives and workforce development programs.
The recognition was awarded during the DMDP Stakeholders Forum and the presentation of Cebu City's Labor and Employment Development Plan held on December 9, 2025.
Ms. J. Iway, CPSAR Deputy Director and Job Placement Officer, accepted the plaque on behalf of CPSAR & ETEEAP Director Dr. Rosanna R. Gullas and the Visayanian community.
The plaque was presented by Dr. Anthony V. Agujar, CityGovernment Department Head II, together with Marites Mercado of the DOLE Tri-City Field Office.
The acknowledgment highlights UV’s steadfast commitment to workforce empowerment, career placement, training support, and building employment connections for students and alumni.
