UV and PMAP signed a Memorandum of Agreement to launch a Diploma in Human Resource Management program starting 2026, featuring credit articulation toward MBA equivalency.
The University of the Visayas and the People Management Association of the Philippines formalized a partnership that aims to reshape HR education in Cebu through a new Diploma in Human Resource Management program.
The newly launched DHRM program introduces a vertical articulation model that allows students to credit their DHRM units toward an MBA track, offering a fast and efficient pathway to graduate studies. This makes the initiative the first of its kind in the Visayas, giving HR practitioners a more seamless academic progression.
Under the partnership, PMAP will lead promotional efforts, provide curricula, and accredit lecturers, while UV will provide venue support, learning facilities, and online learning systems.
Both institutions expressed their shared commitment to strengthening HR competency development in Cebu and supporting professionals across the region through accessible and high-quality HR education.
