TOEIC Test Underway at UV Campuses

THE Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) is currently being administered at the University of the Visayas as part of its internationalization and employability initiatives.

UV has partnered with Princeton Assessments and Training, Inc. (formerly Hopkins International Partners, Inc.) to administer the TOEIC Test for Visayanian students.

The testing period runs from November 25 to 28 for students on the Main Campus, with additional testing scheduled for November 29 at the Toledo and Dalaguete Campuses.

The TOEIC is a requirement for students enrolled in Effective Communication courses, aiming to assess their proficiency in English—a critical skill for global competitiveness. This initiative aligns with the University's commitment to preparing students for the demands of the international job market.

University officials emphasize the importance of the test in equipping students with essential language skills to enhance their career prospects both locally and abroad.

The College of Arts and Sciences takes the lead in organizing the TOEIC program in the University.
