UV execs meet with PNP Officials for potential partnership

The top executives of the University of the Visayas met with the officials of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and National Police College (NPC) on Tuesday, June 25, to explore possible partnership and collaboration in the future.
UV Executive Board Chairman Dr. Gerald Anthony "Didi" S. Gullas, Vice Chairman Joselito "Jiji" F. Gullas, UV President Dr. Conrado E. Iñigo, Jr., and Vice President for Administration Elmer Ocaba welcomed with open arms the PNP officials to the school's main campus on Colon Street, Cebu City.
The police officers who took time out of their busy schedule to visit the first university in Cebu are NPC-Cebu Campus Director PLTCOL Ronaldo Maala, Police Regional Office (PRO)-Cental Visayas spokeperson PLTCOL Gerard Ace Pelare, PLTCOL George Rodrin of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-7, and NPC Senior Education Program Specialist Professor Jhamine B. Rodriguez.
Established in 1994 pursuant to Section 66 of RA 6975, the NPC is mandated to provide continuing education and career training needs of the police, fire and jail officers.
