UV Minglanilla holds Commencement Exercises

On the 13th of June 2024, the University of the Visayas Minglanilla Campus held its 7th Senior High School and 12th Grade School Commencement Exercises with the theme, "Kabataang Pilipino para sa Matatag na Kinabukasan ng Bagong Pilipinas."
Minglanilla campus was able to produce a total of 99 graduates from kindergarten, grade 6, and up to senior high school.
They were presented by their Pincipal, Mrs. Maria Theresa Gonzaga, and was confirmed by the Vice President of Academic Affairs and the Basic Education Academic Director Dr. Anna Lou Cabuenas.
The commencement speaker was an outstanding Visayanian alumni Dr. Alexander Acosta.
"It (hardship) didn't stop me from dreaming because I hate poverty. Stay focused," Dr. Acosta said.
The address of gratitude was given by the valedictorians of the graduating batches: Grade 12 HUMMS student Jellian Mae Manacap, and Grade 6 student Jane Cris Alexa Meguiso.
The program ended with the song rendition by the graduates with the song by Taylor Swift, "Long Live," and the Alma Mater song, "Green and White March."
