The University of the Visayas, through its College and Graduate School of Education, proudly presents the International Research Conference 2025 — a global academic gathering for students, educators, researchers, and leaders committed to shaping the future of education.

With the theme “Transforming Education: Bridging Innovation, Equity, and Excellence for a Global Future,” the conference serves as a platform to highlight transformative research and practical innovations that promote inclusivity, equity, and global competitiveness in education.

This year’s conference is a collaborative effort, co-presented with the Philippine Teachers Association Bahrain (PTAB), Centro Escolar University, Jissen Women’s University (Japan), and Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (Indonesia) — bringing together a diverse range of perspectives and expertise in one dynamic forum.

Background

Launched as part of the University of the Visayas’ initiative to advance global academic engagement, the International Research Conference builds on the institution’s commitment to quality research and inclusive education.

The 2025 edition marks a significant milestone as it brings together international collaborators from Bahrain, Japan, and Indonesia, affirming UV’s dedication to fostering cross-border knowledge sharing and transformative learning.

Objectives

  • Highlight innovative educational practices and policies across local and global contexts
  • Foster academic dialogue on equity, inclusivity, and excellence in education
  • Provide a platform for researchers to present studies aligned with 21st-century learning
  • Strengthen collaboration among academic institutions across countries

Submissions are now open for paper and poster presentations. Researchers are encouraged to submit abstracts on topics such as:
