UV International Webinar Series Launches This December

The University of the Visayas–Center for Research and Innovation (UV-CRI) is launching its International Webinar Series on December 5, 2025, featuring hydrologist Dr. Eyad Abushandi to provide students and researchers with global insights on water resources and environmental data analysis.
UV-CRI invites the academic community to join a global learning session with Dr. Abushandi, a noted hydrologist with extensive international experience in flood modeling, hydrological processes, and environmental research across the Middle East and Europe.
Dr. Abushandi, a Fellow of Advance HE (UK), has served in academic and research roles at Sohar University in Oman and Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. His work in rainfall–runoff modeling, hydrological extremes, and environmental data analytics has made significant contributions to the field. Currently teaching at Bahrain Polytechnic, he continues to collaborate on impactful environmental studies across multiple regions. The UV International Webinar Series aims to broaden perspectives, strengthen research capacity, and provide students and faculty with global expertise.
