UV-CCJE Batch MATALAS Marks Internship Graduation with Turnover and Ring Hop Ceremonies

The University of the Visayas–College of Criminal Justice Education honored 216 graduating interns from Batch MATALAS during a triple celebration featuring their internship graduation, turnover of command, and Ring Hop ceremony on July 28, 2025, at the UV Gymnasium.
The University of the Visayas – College of Criminal Justice Education (UV-CCJE) celebrated the milestone achievement of Batch MATALAS (Mandirigmang May Talino at Lakas) with an internship graduation, turnover of command, and Ring Hop ceremony on July 28, 2025, at the UV Gymnasium.
A total of 216 criminology interns were recognized for successfully completing their field training requirements. The event was led by CCJE Dean Dr. Donald B. Narra and Internship Commandant Harvey Abella, alongside the college’s faculty members.
Adding inspiration to the celebration was guest speaker Franz Jury Insao, who delivered a motivational message to the graduating students. A symbolic turnover of command also took place as outgoing Chief Intern Josh Andrei Seneca formally passed leadership to incoming Chief Intern Khoni Tudtud.
The Ring Hop ceremony capped the event, symbolizing the students' transition from classroom learning to real-world application in the criminal justice profession.
