The College of Business Administration (CBA) held its Recognition Day for the academic year 2023-2024 on July 23, 2024, at the HRM Function Hall, UV-Main Campus.
The event aimed to recognize the excellent accomplishments of outstanding students and also served as a celebration of their significant milestones during their academic journey in line with the theme: "Empowering Future Leaders: Celebrating Excellence and Innovation."
In her speech, Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Program Coordinator in Accountancy Ms. Jazmaine Z. Fortuna emphasized the importance of the said event.
“This recognition ceremony serves not only to acknowledge your accomplishments but also to inspire each other to consistently strive for excellence and contribute positively to our CBA community,” she said.
“May this recognition ceremony serve as a reminder of the endless possibilities that await when your passion meets determination,” she added.
Subsequently, CBA Dean and Vice President for Finance and Quality Management Systems Dr. Rosemarie Cruz-Español delivered an inspirational message to the students urging them to persist in their pursuit of excellence for their future endeavors.
“That reward will keep you going. However, do not rest on that achievement but strive to be better. Each day is an opportunity to improve and become better,” she said.
Thereafter, in recognition of their hard work and perseverance, all CBA Dean's Lister and top-performing students were given certificates of excellence alongside the other achievers that underscore their contributions to the academic community.
Present were the program coordinators, faculty, students, and non-teaching staff who contributed to the success of the program.
