The United Social Studies Organization (USSO) imploring the aid of Almighty God, in order to help establish justice, peace, and unity, protect and promote the common goods that will lead other sector of the University and Society as well as holds the principle of true leadership geared towards democracy and the value of intellectual, spiritual, moral and social responsibility do hereby ordain ourselves into an organization and promote promulgate to assist in the solution of problems and conflict existing within the USSO until resolved.

The Dental Student Body Organization aims to unify all dental students through cooperation and collaboration in the promotion and intervention of oral health disparities within clinical populations and the wider community of the University of the Visayas and Cebu City. As we strive to succeed academically, we choose to embrace the responsibility of representing the interests of dental students, fostering community, organizing events, and collaborating with faculty to address concerns. This vital organization chooses to enhance the students experience and promote a supportive academic culture based on the values of dedication, education, networking, teamwork, innovation, service, trust, research, and youthfulness.

The University of the Visayas Mass Communicators’ Society is composed of students who are currently enrolled in Bachelor of Arts in Communication. The main duties and goals of this organization in the department are the maintenance of order and giving of services to the members of the said organization and students connected to the college and in the field of mass media. And also actively promote involvement of all BA Communication students in the curricular and extra-curricular activities in the university that would be beneficial to the students in their stay in the university.

UVSAS is created to protect value and importance of the role of Architecture students in nation building and public service. As a junior arm of the professional organization, it brings together the architecture students in the university of the Visayas with the aim of gearing students towards professionalism, camaraderie, and selfless service.

This chapter serves as a hub for students pursuing electrical engineering degrees at the University of the Visayas. The IIEE UV Chapter fosters academic and professional growth among its members. It provides a platform for students to deepen their knowledge in electrical engineering. It promotes a strong sense of a camaraderie and networking opportunities among students. IIEE UV Chapter’s initiatives help prepare members for future careers in electrical engineering. It encourages active participation in community service and outreach programs.

The purpose of this organization is to develop and enhance the capability of every students of Civil Engineering to acknowledge its society and to earn bond in all PICE-CEBU members.

The Kinetics Club is an organization from the College of Education that provides opportunities for students to develop their skills and talents through participating in school-related activities. To become a member of this organization, you must come with a positive mindset with the ideals and principles of participative democracy.

The league of Tourism Students in the Philippines UV Chapter is a dynamic and passionate student organization dedicated to fostering excellence in the field of tourism. Committed to promoting continuous learning, cultural enrichment, and responsible tourism practices, this chapter stands as a community of future tourism leaders.

With a focus of teamwork, sustainability, professionalism, and the highest standards of ethical conduct, our members work collaboratively to drive innovation and growth in the tourism sector. As global ambassadors, we celebrate diversity, engage with local communities, and give back through service initiatives. Our commitment to research culture ensures that we actively contribute to the growth and innovation of the tourism industry.

Ang KAFILMA ay nangangahulugang Kapisanan ng mga Filipino Majors. Hindi lamang ito para sa mga mag aaral na kumukuha ng medyor sa Filipino kundi para sa lahat ng mag aaral sa Kolehiyo ng Edukasyon na gusting magpamiyembro o maging kasapi nito. Ito ay wikang Filipino. Ito rin ay isang organisasyong kaagapay ng University of the Visayas sa paghubog ng mga produktibong mamamayanmg Pilipino.

The term KAFILMA stands for Association of Filipino Majors. It is not only for students majoring in Filipino but also for all students in the College of Education who want to become members or be part of it. It is in the Filipino language. It is also an organization in partnership with the University of the Visayas in shaping productive Filipino citizens.

The UVBS is an organization that promotes academic excellence by nurturing students to become effective leaders, socially responsible, moral upright, well-oriented and scientifically skillful. The organization also aims to initiate programs that will be beneficial to the students, university and to the society.

We are a club with the goal of creating, organizing and training teams that will play video games competitively against other school’s clubs and at various events.

The name of the organization shall be known as the College of Education Council of Leaders of the University of the Visayas, which shall hereinafter be referred to as the CECL. The seat of this organization shall be at the College of Education, University of the Visayas, Dela Victoria Street, Pardo, Cebu City.

The University of the Visayas College of Education Council of Leaders exists because of the following:

• To help students develop a passionate love of country, values, and competencies that will enable them to realize their full potential and to contribute meaningfully to building the nation;
• To help develop a student-friendly, safe, and motivating learning environment; To nurture an inclusive, service-oriented, gender-sensitive, and environment-conscious community;
• To help develop self-confidence, critical thinking, problem- solving, decision-making, and learning among the student body and to utilize these skills in contributing towards nation-building;
• To empower the students to strive for excellence in academics, leadership, and social responsibility; to encourage the students to be proactive members of society;
• To serve, to protect, and to promote the rights and welfare of students.

PCAS is an organization that promotes the integral and proactive development of its members through activities and undertakings that cultivate and enhance camaraderie, leadership and academic excellence with a high sense of moral and social responsibility and continuous improvement.

The council of young hoteliers and restaurateurs is a student organization exclusive to all students enrolled in the Hospitality Management Program

The Red Cross Youth in the Philippines is constituted by children, adolescents, and young adults aged 7 to 25 years old. Their role and engagement in the humanitarian works of the Philippine Red Cross provides them an area to realize their potential in humanitarian leadership.

The Gullas Law School - International Law Students Alliance is a dynamic and dedicated law student School - Law Alliance of the University of the Visayas. We aim to prepare and empower the next generation of legal advocate’s , debaters, and legal researchers and to excel in local and international mooting and debate competitions.

We offer rigorous training in legal advocacy, oral and written, to excel in moot court and debate competitions, opportunities for interdisciplinary learning, and exploring the intersection of law with other fields. We aim to establish linkages with like-minded advocates, professionals, and organizations in the realm of international law.

We, the CAS Student Council, is organization that is committed to help the CAS students and staff to fulfill its vision, mission, goals, and objectives towards transformation and excellence.

This organization shall be called “College of Arts and Sciences Student Council” known as CAS-SC under the UV College of Arts and Sciences. With this, it must be that CAS-SC will cooperate and ask suggestion with the UV College of Arts and Sciences.

This organization must fulfill its vision, mission, goals, objective, preamble, and the university’s VGMO through its activities and others.

As international students of the University of the Visayas, we seek the guidance of God to establish a strong and talented association that contributes to our educational institution for the betterment of its student body and the greater community of Cebu City. We commit ourselves to upholding the values of services, and leadership, and strive to be role models in our respective roles, colleges, and departments. We believe in the importance of cross-cultural unity and representation, embrace diversity among domestic and international students, and seek to be an inclusive association of students striving for academic excellence and transformative growth. Together, we aim to increase cultural awareness and sensitivity by sharing our ethnic backgrounds, cultures, and customs. We recognize English as the unifying language of international students, but we also choose to learn the language of the Visayas region to better adapt and engage in our educational and social environment

The Gullas Law School - LEX Circle is na organization that fosters the development of law students for them to become honorable and competent lawyers that will stand for the protection and preservation of the rights and privileges of society.

University of the Visayas Society of Architecture (UVSAS)/ United Architecture of the Philippines Student Auxiliary (UAPSA) is created to protect the value and importance of the role of Architecture students in nation building of the public service. As a junior arm of the professional organizations, it brings together the architecture students in the university with the aim of gearing students towards professionalism, camaraderie and selfless service.

Community Movers Volunteer Society is an organization of empowered students who value voluntarism in community work and utilizing the ideas of love, leadership and service.

The Junior People Management Association of the Philippines is an organization affiliated with the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP). It is a national organization established as an academic organization of the various learning institutions, such as colleges or universities.

It is dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young member and providing them with the tools they need to become the future leaders and managers of modern society. To fulfill thus, JPMAP wants to establish a chapter at the University of the Visayas.

The University of the Visayas Computing Society (UVSC) is the main and the mother organizations of the Computer Studies Department where every student is a member. It helps the department in achieving common goal and in developing the skills of the students in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and leadership. It serves as the umbrella of the different organization within the department.

Pharmacy Student Body Organization (PSBO) formerly Pharmacy Student Council (PSC) was founded in1968 right after the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy was granted recognition by the government of GR. No. 111.

Gullas Institute of Legal Aid Services (GILAS) is the official holding organization for the Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP) of the Gullas Law School (GLS)- University of the Visayas.

Supreme Student Council is the highest governing body of all students’ organizations in the University of the Visayas that is committed to help the UV students to fulfill its vision, mission, goals, and objectives towards transformation and excellence.
