UV, Supply Management Groups Forge Partnership

The University of the Visayas formalized a partnership with two supply management organizations through a Memorandum of Understanding signed on August 13 in Cebu City, establishing a framework for collaboration in supply management and professional education.
UV entered into an agreement with the Philippine Institute for Supply Management-Cebu, Inc. (PISM-Cebu) and the Foundation of the Society of Fellows in Supply Management, Inc. (SOFSM) to support projects and initiatives related to supply management and professional development.
Under the agreement, PISM-Cebu will provide technical and professional expertise in developing academic and professional programs in supply management. SOFSM will support the continuing professional education initiatives of PISM-Cebu.
The MOU was signed by UV President Dr. Conrado E. Iñigo Jr. and College of Business Administration and Graduate School Dean Dr. Rosemarie Cruz-Español, CPA, together with PISM-Cebu President Maria Luisa Del Galleego Martinez and SOFSM President Lester Michael B. Hernandez.
The partnership provides a framework for UV and established professional organizations to collaborate on initiatives aligned with the University’s academic and institutional priorities.
