UV Delegation Gears Up for EU-Funded Benchmarking Visit to France and Hungary

The University of the Visayas (UV) held a pre-departure orientation for its official delegation ahead of an EU-funded benchmarking visit to France and Hungary, reinforcing the university’s global presence and commitment to international academic collaboration.


The University of the Visayas (UV) held a pre-departure orientation for its official delegation ahead of their funded benchmarking visit to France and Hungary.

The orientation session aimed to brief participants on the objectives, logistics, and expected outcomes of the international engagement. The visit, made possible through an EU grant awarded to UV’s International Affairs Department, highlights the university’s growing global influence and dedication to fostering academic partnerships with top European institutions.

During the benchmarking visit, the UV delegation will participate in partnership meetings and collaborative sessions with universities in France and Hungary. The focus areas include disciplines represented by the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Allied Health Sciences, College of Business Administration, and the Gullas Law School.

The official delegation includes:
  • Dr. Rosemarie Cruz-Español, Vice President for Finance and Quality Management Systems and Dean of the College of Business Administration
  • Dr. Anna Lou Cabuenas, Vice President for Academic Affairs
  • Dr. Yvonne Sevilla, Dean of the College of Allied Health Sciences
  • Atty. Joseph Randi Torregosa, Dean of the Gullas Law School
  • Atty. Darling Chyrmyth Estorgio, Associate Dean of the Gullas Law School
  • Mr. Rogie Nichole Aquino, Director of the International Affairs Department

Through this initiative, UV reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence, global competitiveness, and the strengthening of international networks in alignment with its Internationalization Roadmap for 2025–2028.
