UV and PTA-B renew partnership for another three years

The University of the Visayas (UV) has reaffirmed its global education ties, renewing a strategic alliance with the Philippine Teachers Association-Bahrain (PTA-B) to enhance faculty and student development programs for the next three years.
The University of the Visayas (UV) and the Philippine Teachers Association-Bahrain (PTA-B) renewed their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing on Monday, August 4, 2025, at the Doña Andrea Multimedia Center in UV.
The MOA underscores joint initiatives in academic excellence, research, and faculty development, aiming to create more opportunities for seminars, workshops, and learning communities. This continued collaboration is expected to strengthen both institutions’ commitment to advancing education and professional growth.
Among those present at the signing were UV President Dr. Conrado E. Iñigo Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Anna Lou C. Cabuenas, Dean of the College and Graduate School of Education Dr. Aileen C. Costas, PTA-B President Ms. Rowena Desierto, and PTA-B Past President Dr. Junifer Abatayo.
