Program Description
The Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration program is a comprehensive and specialized undergraduate program designed to prepare students for professional careers in customs administration and related fields. This program provides students with a solid foundation in customs laws, regulations, procedures, and practices, along with essential skills in logistics, trade facilitation, and international trade management.
The program aims to develop graduates who possess the knowledge, skills, and ethical values necessary to effectively manage and facilitate the movement of goods across international borders, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and promoting trade facilitation. Throughout the program, students will acquire a deep understanding of the legal, operational, and managerial aspects of customs administration through a combination of theoretical coursework, practical training, and experiential learning opportunities.
The curriculum encompasses a diverse range of subjects that cover various aspects of customs administration and related disciplines. Students will engage in rigorous academic study, hands-on training, and industry immersion to develop a comprehensive skill set. The program also emphasizes the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills to prepare graduates for the challenges and complexities of the profession.
Program Educational Objectives (PEO)
- KNOWLEGDE, SKILLS AND VALUES - Demonstrated broad and coherent knowledge and skills in the field of study for professional work, acquired as a graduate of Customs Administration, or any related field, acquired a valid license for Customs Broker given by PRC and PRBCB.
- APPLICATION - Applied the knowledge in professional/ creative work or research in a specialized field/sector of Logistics/Supply Chain/Customs Brokers profession and/or for further study.
- DEGREE OF INDEPENDENCE - Worked with a substantial degree of independence and or/in teams of individuals in related fields with minimal supervision.
Program Outcomes
- Articulate the provisions of tariff and customs laws, rules, and regulations, as well as international trade laws and agreements.
- Perform the different customs valuation and classification concepts. And applications, systems, techniques, and remedies.
- Detect and prevent fraud in the area of occupation.
- Demonstrate self-confidence in dealing with clients, fellow - professionals and various government agencies.
- Innovate supply chain and risk management approaches and methodologies.
- Introduce new ideas for the improvement of the practice of the profession as customs broker and as a supply chain practitioner.

- Work effectively with other stakeholders and manage conflict in the workplace.
- Demonstrate technological proficiency in the workplace.
