Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Human Resources Management program prepares the students for a career in Human Resources Management. The program provides students with the knowledge and skills required of an HR practitioner in the areas of workforce organization, job analysis, recruitment, compensation, personnel learning and development employee relations, legal provisions and other labor concerns.

  The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration is a 4-year degree program. It is an interdisciplinary and problem-focused program. It utilizes an integrated approach to study the interrelationship among the functional Areas of Business, namely: Financial Management, Marketing Management, Human Resources Management and Operations Management, and examine how the effective orchestration of these different components of business operations can lead to organizational success. At the end of the program, the students are expected to appreciate the economic, social, technological and legal environments within which all business must operate.


Program Educational Objectives (PEO)

Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration are expected to demonstrate the following within three (3) to five (5) years after graduation:

  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & VALUES : Demonstrated broad and coherent knowledge and skills in the field of study for professional work, acquired as a graduate of Business Administration or any related field.
  • APPLICATION : Applied the knowledge in professional/ creative work or research in a specialized field/sector of Finance, Marketing, Human Resource and Operation Management and/or for further study.
  • DEGREE OF INDEPENDENCE : Worked with a substantial degree of independence and or/in teams of individuals in related fields with minimal supervision.
