Our deep sympathies to the family of our Cebu City Mayor, Atty. Edgardo Colina Labella, for his demise at dawn today, at the age of 70.
He is a true-blooded Visayanian since his High School years until he got his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in 1971. In his stint in public service in Cebu City, he served as a City Councilor from 1998-2001 and 2004-2013, then became a Vice Mayor for two terms from 2013-2019. His passion for leadership and service to the public has summated his love and dedication for the Cebuanos and his political career when he was elected as the Mayor last 2019 up to this date.
Mayor Ed, thank you for your love, leadership, and service to the Cebuano community. May your soul rest in peace as you enter the kingdom of our Lord in heaven.
