QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT OF THE CENTER FOR RESEARCH AND INNOVATION
The Center for Research and Innovation supports the University of the Visayas in the conduct of research endeavors from conceptualization, production, publication, dissemination, utilization, extension, transfer and commercialization. The center is committed to continually improve and observe a system in accordance with the requirements of:

Research Conference
Conferences conducted were committed to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge conducted by faculty, students and non-teaching staff. Research presentation are also disseminated to other investigators, policymakers, consumers inside and outside institution.

The center shall ensure the accountability for the effectiveness of the system, ensure that the quality objectives are continually reviewed and revised annually, and communicated and understood by CRD and CRU staff, and faculty, non –teaching and students researchers and promote the use of a process-based and risk-based thinking approach
The University’s Objectives is to come up with outcomes based and research oriented academic resources across all disciplines, to increase faculty and students involvement in research undertakings, to raise the number of publish research outputs and to have the students acquired the attitude, knowledge and beginning skills in conceptualizing a research study, designing research, measuring and collecting data, analyzing research data ang communicating research result emphasizing research as an evidence building enterprise that in crucial for practice.
Faculty Research Training Needs Assessments
This is the center’s procedure of inquiring the faculty members what they see as the most important needs as faculty and institutional research. The needs assessment will be the basis for Research Training Plan.
