COMMUNITY EXTENSION

The University of the Visayas is an educational institution located at Cebu City, Philippines. It was the first school in the province of Cebu to gain university status. Barangay Kamagayan had been identified as the community considered deprived, depressed, and undeserved recipient of its community extension services of the University.

Thirteen colleges and seven non-teaching departments of the university will undertake projects after the philosophy H.E.A.R.T

H- ealth and Wellness

Reduce sexually transmitted infections by 30%. Reduce malnutrition by 50%.

100% of the beneficiaries consistently implement the program on solid waste management.

15% reduction of criminal cases through awareness program and campaign against illegal drugs and other forms of criminality.
