SPECIAL PROGRAMS

EXPANDED TERTIARY EQUIVALENCY AND ACCREDITATION PROGRAM (ETEEAP)
Is an educational assessment scheme which recognizes knowledge, skills, and prior learning obtained by individuals from non-formal and formal educational experiences. Equivalency competence standards and a comprehensive system employing written test, interview, skills demonstration and other creative assessment methodologies are established.

The University of the Visayas, being deputized by the Commission on Higher Education, implements the ETEEAP with four authorized colleges that can award ETEEAP degrees, namely: Business Administration, Criminology, Engineering and Architecture and Graduate School.

SPECIAL EDUCATION MODULAR PROGRAM
Is a 6 months modular program leading to a Diploma in Special Education

DIPLOMA IN PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION
A 33 unit program leading to a Diploma in Professional Education

MASTER OF ARTS IN EDUCATION MAJOR IN SPEECH PATHOLOGY
A 54 unit- 10 months modular program leading to a masteral degree in education major in Speech Pathology
