In Need of Petroleum, Safety and Power Engineering Instructors

 

University of the Visayas / Strategic Project Management (Canada) Ltd. is seeking experienced Power, Petroleum, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to join our team as Instructors of our Power and Petroleum Engineering programs.

The ideal candidates must have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Petroleum or Power Engineering
• Minimum of (5) years actual working experience in Oil and Gas Upgrading Plant / Refinery, or Power Plant, Steam Plant or Drilling, Pulp and Paper or any Manufacturing Companies.
• Good mechanical skills and aptitude
• Certification as Safety Officer is an asset.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and willingness to accept increased instructional responsibilities
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Knowledgeable in Pumps, Sub-surface Equipments, Turbines, Gas Compressors, Boilers, Piping, Welding, Engines and other equipments being used in the Plant.
• Strong equipment trouble shooting skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point is required. Experience with SAP would be an asset.
• Flights / Hotels will be provided for out of town Instructors.
• Salary 1,000 pesos per hour.
